Pancilla Carlene Smith, age 76, affectionately known as “Pansy”, of Monroe Village, St. George. Retired Health Sister (Ministry of Health). Daughter of the late Grafton and Clara ‘Pat’ Wharton, Sister of Veldene Bradshaw, Frederick, Wentworth and Judy Forde, Jacqueline Forde-Straker (U.S.A), Kenneth, Diana, Ricardo, Peter and Trevor Hunte and Veronica Coppin-Reid. Sister-in- law of Darnell V. Straker (U.S.A). Aunt of John Bradshaw, Francis and Janel Forde, George Brathwaite, Yolande, Andre’, Deryck, Kayla and Carolyn Straker (U.S.A). Niece of Una Johnson-Jones and Moorine Smith-Bailey (B’dos), Doreen and Keith Smith (U.K), Lilith Cummins, Henderson Wint and Annette Harewood (U.S.A), Norbert and Nydrol Knights (Trinidad). Cousin of Lester Thorne, Margherita John-Phillips, Emile ‘Tony’ Thompson and many others. Relative of the Lovell, Wharton, Smith, Green, Douglas and Watson families. Friend of many. The Funeral of the late Pancilla Carlene Smith; leaves Tudor’s Funeral Home, The Ivy, St. Michael on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 1.30pm. for St. George’s Parish Church, The Glebe, St. George where relatives and friends are asked to meet 3.30 pm. for the service and interment. The organist and members of the choir are asked to attend. Flowers may be sent to Tudor’s Funeral Home, no later than 1.00pm. on Friday. The body will repose for viewing in the Chapel of Tudor’s Funeral Home, on Thursday from 4.00pm. until 6.00pm.
