Merrell Eugene Scott, age 89, better known as “Scottie” of Ocean View Road, Spooners Hill, St. Michael. Resident of Fay-Dawn Nursing Home. Mother of Orlando and Clovis Scott and Cynthia Callender nee Scott. Grandmother of Richard Kellman of (JADA), Jacqueline Scott, Rossan Yearwood, Sheena Springer, Sharon Yarde, Jefferson Birch, Bermadene Scott, Stacy and Ria Worrell. Sister of Anita Yarde, Viola Scott and Elsie Harper. Aunt of Ottalese Scott and June Harewood (Nightengale Children's Home). Mother-in-law of Esther and Cicely Scott and Anthony Callender (The B’dos Light & Power Co. Ltd). Relative of the Herbert family of Content, St. Thomas, the Phillip family of Rock Hall, St. Thomas and many others. Friend of many. The Funeral of the late Merrell Eugene Scott, leaves Tudor’s Funeral Home, The Ivy, St. Michael on Thursday, October 18, 2012, at 1.00pm. for St. Thomas Parish Church, St. Thomas; where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2.30pm. for the service and interment . The organist and members of the choir are asked to attend. Flowers may be sent to Tudor’s Funeral Home, no later than 12.30pm. on Thursday. The body will repose for viewing in the Chapel of Tudor’s Funeral home on Wednesday, October 17th from 4.00pm. until 6.00pm.
